The Estate & Jurassic Coast
The historic Warmwell Estate encompasses over 1000 acres of mixed livestock farm, ancient woodland and the conservation village – several characterful properties and a 13th century church. We are also privileged to have some rare SSSI heathland with Exmoor ponies and Shetland cattle, and will often be treated to glimpses of deer, hares, and plenty of interesting birds.
There is additional accommodation on the estate should you need it. The estate’s gatehouse – White’s cottage – and for the more adventurous, two luxurious shepherds’ huts.
We encourage guests to make the most of the estate; taking in the breath-taking views, exploring the grounds, walking the scenic footpaths and losing yourself – quite literally! – in the Warmwell garden maze.
Further afield (just a few miles) is the World Heritage Jurassic Coast with its spectacular cliffs and beaches. The coastline, which is perfect for a swim or a picnic, is part of the protected Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
