Warmwell House is available for occasional private hire. Eight gorgeously renovated bedrooms with all mod cons, the cosy morning room, elegant upstairs drawing room and fabulous Jacobean dining room can be hired for weekend parties and gatherings.

All our bedrooms are individually decorated in a beautifully elegant country style. It’s a real meeting of old-school luxury, stately comfort and twenty-first century essentials. There are unique antique furniture and artworks in every room, as well as family mementoes and homely touches that make each room special. Think classic English country house and rural peace, with super fast broadband and great wifi.
Most of our rooms have en-suite bathrooms with baths, showers and all the fluffy towels you need to get warm and dry. Light and airy in summer, snug and inviting in winter is our motto.
What’s a relaxing weekend in the Dorset countryside without good food and drink? We have top quality chefs and caterers to give you the finest dining experience to go with the surroundings. Warmwell House stands in 1000 acres of mixed livestock farm and ancient woodland. We are privileged to have some rare SSSI heathland with Exmoor ponies and Shetland cattle, and guests are likely to be treated by glimpses of deer, hares, pheasants and plenty of interesting birds as they explore the grounds.
Guests can also make use of the swimming pool and tennis court, as well as our very own outdoor maze, up in the copse by the shepherd’s huts. For wet and windy days, the Coach House makes a great space for partying, dancing or just somewhere for the kids to let off steam.
